Kellyn presents in-class “Eat Real Food” seminars introducing the taste, value and health aspects of fresh foods to the 3rd grade students.
The "Eat Real Food" program teaches the health benefits, ecological benefits and economic benefits of fresh foods, while explaining the importance of backyard gardens, community gardens, farmers' markets and local farms.
This program complements the School Garden program and is integrated into the science curriculum at the 3rd grade level.
